About Me

I discovered a lifelong love for Scotland and its tragic history and craggy mountains during my master’s program in Publishing Studies at the University of Stirling, where I studied and lived for a year.

While completing my master’s, I had the opportunity to attend the London Book Fair and intern at Luath Press in Edinburgh.

As a lover of the written word, I’ve been an editor for over eight years. I am currently a freelance book editor. I was awarded the Apex Award for Publication Excellence as senior production editor of a non-profit.

I am a huge Austenite who collects beautiful copies of Pride and Prejudice, and I am quite the tea aficionado. My other hobbies include reading, traveling, and interior decorating.

Since my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a very young age, the fight to end Alzheimer’s is very near and dear to my heart. As her primary caretaker, I understand the intricate aspects of grieving in stages and making the most of her remaining memory.
